The pesent Creich Church is located in an area of rolling countryside
just north of the A92, half a mile beyont the picturesque village of
Luthrie. Built in 1832 to replace the earlier ruined church of St Devine
or the old Creich Church. The ruin, under the care of Historic Scotland,
is located a mile away within the parish cemetery.
One
of the most interesting relics is the Barclay Stone which was disinterred
from the old Creich Church and moved to its present site in the vestibule
in 1935. The carved medieval stone is of great interest to archaeologists.
