Loch Creran is a captivating sea loch some 7 miles long which connects with the Lynn of Lorn via the narrows at the Isle of Eriska. The area around Loch Creran is steeped in myth and legend and it was the setting for Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale Kidnapped. Visitors to Loch Creran can frequently see oyster catchers, seals and otters. The area is great for walking and activities such as fly fishing, sea loch fishing, sailing and diving are also available.
